Moritaka Mashiro is a teenager with a talent for drawing, and Akito Takagi is an ambitious teenage author who wants to write manga scripts. Together they decide to do their utmost to become professional manga artists for Shonen Jump. Their goal is made all the more vital to Mashiro due to a vow he makes to his long-term crush, Miho Azuki, that once he gets his manga made into an anime, and Miho manages to become a professional, successful voice actor, they will get married. The movie follows their adventures in becoming manga artists...
