Story

Meteor X appears over Tokyo 2 and starts projecting magnetic waves that cause neurological damage to several monsters, forcing them into a beserk-like state. Consequently, the creatures begin to attack Earth and its neighboring planets; however, one monster remains unaffected by the waves, the creaure is then humanity's last hope to stop the others and destroy Meteor X.


Controls

  • A Button = Punch/Pick up buildings or monsters, if the situation allows
  • B Button = Kick
  • R Button = Jump
  • L Button = Block
  • Hold A Button until flashing, release = Special Move (level 1), adds to Rage Meter if successful
  • Hold B Button until flashing, release = Special Move (level 2), adds to Rage Meter if successful
  • L + R Buttons = Rage Attack (level 1)
  • R then A + B Buttons = Rage Attack (level 2)
  • A + B Buttons = Rage Attack (level 3)

Game Modes

Story Mode
Play through the eight level long story mode. Includes bonus levels and a boss match at the very end.

VS Mode
Fight between 2-4 human players against one another. When playing with multiple GameBoy Advances that each have the game all six monsters are playable. When doing single cartridge multiplayer play only Godzilla is available.

Custom Mode
Setup a single player bout against 1-3 computer controlled players. Allows you to select the monsters used by yourself and all computer players along with the level played on.


Power-ups

Located inside structures and vehicles are several power-ups which can either aid or hinder the monster who acquires them.

Health Up Health Up
Recovers Hit Points slightly.
Rage Up Rage Up
Adds to Rage Meter.
Speed Up Speed Up
Greatly increases speed; will cancel out Slow Down effect.
Super Jump Super Jump
Increases jumping ability.
Slow Down Slow Down
Greatly reduces speed; will cancel out Speed Up effect.
Poison Poison
Disables attacks.
Confuse Confuse
Inverts controls, causing left to be right, up to be down.
Mystery Mystery
Produces the effect of another item, chosen at random.
