Godzilla Destruction - Locations and EDF [Android/iOS]
Locations - Area Traps - Area Rewards

Locations

There are three countries in the game. Each has a sub set of areas, or groupings of areas as is the case with Japan. They all end with a boss, which is a super sized version of the machine. The locations in the game are:

Japan

Japan

Unlocked by default, Japan is unique as it has four sub locations. Each of these have their own set of areas that feature EDF (Earth Defense Force) units that will combat Godzilla. Each sub location has a boss on the final area, which is the same boss for each level.

  • Western Japan - 12 areas long
    (orb series 1 reward)
  • Central Japan - 11 areas long
    (orb series 1 reward)
  • Northern Japan - 11 areas long
    (orb series 2 reward)
  • Tokyo - 11 areas long
    (orb series 2 reward)
Super X

Boss - Super X

From: The Return of Godzilla (1984)

The flying battleship has two different attacks that it uses. One is a laser beam fired in a thin line, which does continual damage when striking. The other is a volley of missiles that hit in a large area. While the craft can rotate, it will not move from its position.

America

America

Following Japan comes America. This location only has one city, and naturally coming after Japan is a lot tougher with many more EDF units in each area to battle the player.

  • New York City - 11 areas long
Super X-III

Boss - Super X-III

From: Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (1995)

The giant flying machine is the boss for the US. It will attack by doing strafing runs while firing missiles, and doesn't remain stationary at all. It will also damage the player if it runs into them, as it flies across the stage.

United Kingdom

England

The final location in the game. As expected, it's the hardest the game has to offer with a constant barrage of EDF units looking to take out the player. In fact, area five is a mid-boss battle with the Super X that is supported by regular EDF units.

  • London - 11 areas long
Super X-II

Boss - Super X-II

From: Godzilla vs. Biollante (1989)

The game's final boss is the Super X-II, which has a wide range of attacks. One of these maneuvers is the use of the Fire Mirror, which reflects beams back at their source and prevents damage from rays. The Super X-II can also fire a stream of missiles. Finally, the craft can unleash large, torpedo sized missiles that will heat seek the player. In addition, the craft will fly around the stage and will injury the player if it collides with them.

Area Traps

Certain areas will also feature traps to thwart or slow down the player. Many of these, like the Barrer which creates a straight sheild that can't be passed through, are not able to be destroyed.

Area Rewards

One time rewards are available the first time the player beats an area. These rewards range from gems, soul and orbs. For New York City and London, orb parts are given as rewards in place of orbs. These rewards can be claimed at any time from the reward screen.

In addition, players will rewards every time they clear an area. This can be a combination of soul and either orbs, monster pieces or both. The kind of orb you can get is limited based on the location you beat. The max kind of orbs are:

  • Western Japan: orb series 1
  • Central Japan: orb series 1
  • Northern Japan: orb series 2
  • Tokyo: orb series 2
  • New York City: orb series 3
  • London: orb series 3

Again, these are max rewards. You can beat Northern Japan and still receive a series 1 orb, for example.
