Godzilla Defense Force - Time Travel and Artifacts [Android/iOS]

Time Travel and Rewards

Starting at level 5, players can utilize time travel to go back in time to the beginning of the game. This resets the following:

  • ArtifactPlayer levels
  • Stages
  • Upgrades and unlocked units
  • Money
  • Survivors

What is not reset includes:

  • Cards and their levels
  • Artifacts and their levels
  • Moonstones
  • X-nium
  • Achievements
  • Auto-tap level
  • Time Shards
  • Allies unlocked
  • Ally levels

Speaking of, the reward for time travel is Time Shards. The amount of shards given depends on how many kaiju and stages were beaten before time travel was used. An opportunity, for a cost of 300 X-nium, is also offered to double this reward.

Artifacts and Upgrading Them

ArtifactNow time shards are used to purchase and upgrade artifacts. Artifacts are awarded at random and the cost to acquire a new one continually goes up, resulting in getting a new artifact becoming very costly.

Upgrading them, though, remains a flat cost dependent on the level. These costs are:

  • 2nd level - 5 Time Shards
  • 3rd level - 7 Time Shards
  • 4th level - 9 Time Shards
  • 5th level - 13 Time Shards
  • 6th level - 19 Time Shards
  • 7th level - 26 Time Shards
  • 8th level - 37 Time Shards
  • 9th level - 52 Time Shards
  • 10th level - 73 Time Shards
  • 11th level - 103 Time Shards
  • 12th level - 144 Time Shards
  • 13th level - 202 Time Shards
  • 14th level - 283 Time Shards
  • 15th level - 396 Time Shards
  • 16th level - 555 Time Shards
  • 17th level - 777 Time Shards
  • 18th level - 1088 Time Shards
