Below is a list of units, with their star rating controlling rarity and also upgrade costs. For leveling one star and two star units, the bonuses are percentage based according to the current level but rounded up to the next whole number. For example, Kamacuras 1967's HP and attack grow by +20% per level at the begining. So at level 2 his HP shifts 32+7 for 39. However, 20% is actually 6.4 HP but it's being rounded up rather generously to +7 instead.
They work off a staggered formula, though. It starts at +20% for the first five levels. For levels 6 through 10 it drops to +10% per level. For levels 10 through 19 it increases to +15%. By level 20 and beyond it drops to just +2% and then beyond level 30 it drops to +0.5%.
Units are sorted by stars and then alphabetically, with the exceptions of evolutions which are grouped together based on the name of the first form.
Unlike lower star units, three star units and leaders start with inflated stats. Upon leveling they get a boost of around +13% to their stats for the first ten levels rounded up. After hitting level 10, further level ups drop to around +10%. After hitting level 20, further level ups drop to around +2%. Once the unit hits level 30, further level ups drop to just +0.5%.
Similar to three stars, four star units and leaders start with greatly inflated stats. Upon leveling they get a huge boost of around +30% to their stats for units and a rather small +2% for leaders up to level 5. For levels 6 through 10 this shifts to around +3% for units and for leaders. By level 11-20 this appears to be +1% for units and +3% for leaders. For levels 21-30 this rises to +2% for units and leaders.
Note: The target for the units was simplified. "3rd Force" was left off as a target. In game it is listed for various units, like the MBAW-93, and not listed for others even though they will attack the 3rd Force, such as Mechagodzilla 1993. As a result, this was not included as it's misleading. Simlarly, "Facility" was also removed as all units can attack these, although it is noted for units that can only attack them and leaders like the B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber. "Leader" is also removed except when it allows a ground only attacker to hit an aerial leader, like King Caesar.
