Description

In order to prepare for the arrival of Godzilla, the United States Military began a new kind of program: G-Combat Training. Soldiers would engage both hostile enemy forces and aggressive monsters in a modified virtual reality simulation experience. One of these monsters was an unknown lifeform with a body like that of a mutated spider and a crab, a scuttling organism which would attack the player if allowed to get too close. An extremely dangerous hostile intruder, orders were to eliminate these creatures on sight. This monster was merely a stand in for the much more dangerous Godzilla, however, who was expected to land on U.S. shores in May of 1998.

Unknown Lifeform 2 demonstrated no special abilities when encountered, preferring to cause damage by quickly scampering toward the player using its six sturdy limbs.
