HISTORY

Guyferd, called that way in English in Japan and also called Seven-Star Fighting God Guyferd for the actual Japanese title, was a TV program that began airing in 1996. It was a coproduction between Toho, Capcom and TV Tokyo.

The show focuses on Go Kazama, a martial artist who is experimented on by an organization called Crown. Crown has two separate super solider programs running, and through happenstance Go is exposed to both. The result is called Guyferd, a mixture of Crown's cybernetic Guyborg and alien Mutian processes. With his powers, Go proceeds to fight the forces of Crown. These include others that were part of the two super soldier programs and under order by Crown.
