Youtooz’s “Kong on Throne” piece is a pretty cool scene capture from the film featuring Kong in all his “King” glory.
Details
Kong is in a simple yet very effective pose here, sitting on his throne with axe in his hand, surveying his domain. His stone throne looks great and has a ton of rocky detail - moreso on the back of the mold. Kong is part of the mold and isn’t removeable. Kong’s level of fur detail is great and I love the dominant smirk on his face. The axe is designed really well and looks great in his hand.
Articulation
Being more of a vinyl statue, Kong does not possess any points of articulation.

Paint
The black paint wash really gives the rocks some nice looking definition. Kong’s chest wound is this sort of salmon color which stands out, but also looks like a fresh wound. The axe blade has a pretty cool looking mix of white and blue. And, for the rest of the paint, it’s very simplified and effective with no blemishes to be found. Kong’s mix of dark brown fur and lighter brown skin looks great!
Overall
Kong looks great on his throne and it’s nice to see the scene from the movie done this way, and would look great on any shelf/desk as a decoration!
