Jada Toys introduces a car with an interesting bit of history in car culture. Read below!
Details
Modeled after the Nissan Skyline GTR R34 which is known in car culture circles as “Godzilla”, Jada Toys created a 1:24 size scale car to commemorate the actual car in die cast/plastic form. The mold itself is highly detailed and when you open the hood, you can see the detailed engine mold which looks pretty cool. The interior itself looks pretty impressive as well.
Articulation
Not much to say here for articulation but the trunk, hood, and doors all open and close and the wheels rotate 360 degrees.
Accessories
No accessories are included with the car.
Paint
The paint looks great and I like the fact that Godzilla (and the Japanese spelling of the name) is painted on and mot some stuck on decal. The rear spoiler also has Godzilla’s name painted on in grey which looks very nice.
Overall
With Godzilla’s steadily increasing worldwide popularity, the tie in merchandise becomes more and more varied. This car is no different. Although I have little knowledge of car culture, I have a friend who is and he was very excited about this release. It’s cool that Jada Toys opted to bring a piece of car culture to light with this release. Highly recommended to those in the car culture and/or those who just want a cool Godzilla car to look at.
