Released by Bandai in August of 2013, this is the Destoroyah figure that is part of a series of six toys called the "Chibi Figures" line. This toy can be purchased separately, in two packs with another toy or they can all be purchased together as part of the Godzilla Chibi Figures 6-Pack.

Back View

Destoroyah from 1995's Godzilla vs. Destoroyah is a nice mix of style, detail, and flat out craziness. Great combo eh? The figure is a mix of red, yellow, white and black and although the paint on the hands comes off as a bit too much, it doesn't detract from the figure. His mouth has a deep blood red color which is rather interesting. The chest is done well with the use of a burst of light red and his horn looks great with the white paint fading at the base. Perhaps the best feature about this figure however is his eyes which give him a maniacal look which I love.

Side View

Destoroyah is pretty detailed with the wings and tail area with their sections and grooves bringing the figure to life. The figure does look a little off when you look at him from the top down because the mouth tends to look more like a beak. The detail on his chest is nice and where the most elaborate bit of detail is on the whole figure is on the top of the head. It's really amazing. There is a very small bit of articulation in the arms which allow a small amount of posing.

In the end, Destoroyah is the most wild and craziest of the bunch and one of the figures your eyes gravitate to first when looking at the set.
