Most
widely recognized as the voice of Bart Simpson
on the long-running cartoon sitcom: The Simpsons,
Nancy Cartwright, along with a handful of other Simspons co-stars, played a slightly-hard-to-spot
cameo in the 1998 Hollywood adaptation of the
world-renowned Godzilla franchise. Cartwright's
scene lasts only a few moments: her character
looks on, awestruck, as the monstrous star of
the film glides by the window of the W.I.D.F.
office, to which she fearfully notes that a news
story just "walked by the window".
Although
Cartwright isn't a regular in cinema, this wasn't
her first brush with the silver screen, as she
has also played minor rolls in the past, including
an appearance in the big screen adaptation of
the classic Twilight Zone series. However,
it remains uncertain whether or not another Toho-related
project like GODZILLA (1998) will appear in her future. |
