Details
Stage performers Jiro Tsuruhachi and Toya Tsurujiro have known--and secretly longed for--each other since the age of 17. But in spite of their brilliant performances on stage, which attract audiences by the dozens, their backstage lives are filled with moments of spiteful criticism, usually from Jiro concerning Toya's performance. They repeatedly threaten to end their partnership, only to be coerced into reconciliation by the people around them. Finally, Jiro and Toya confess their love for one another and agree to marry. Their lives seem to be taking a turn for the better, until jealousy intervenes...
