Cloned from the DNA of the mythical Pokémon Mew and further enhanced by the latest scientific endeavors, Mewtwo was created to be the world's strongest Pokémon and a tool for the schemes of the criminal organization, Team Rocket. Upon discovering his reason for being, Mewtwo lashes out against his creators with powerful psychic abilities and rebuilds a sanctuary on New Island. Questioning his existence and fueled by anger, Mewtwo vows vengeance against humanity while attempting to discover his life's meaning as a clone living among those born into the world.
