Around a year after the televised killing of Natsumi Konishi, the public mystery around her death continues. However, the police are well aware of the source: a specter called Mimiko Mizunuma. Still looking to stop her, the detectives assigned to the case start to track similar murders. These involve a person receiving a cell phone call with the same ring tone from a year ago. What's more the individual then hears themselves in the future just before they die. However, the cases differ as Mimiko's candy is not placed in the victim's mouth. The police look to examine the girl's backstory, before she passed. This leads them to Taiwan and the girl's stepfather. Unfortunately, the man is already dead, killed with a cell phone in his hands. What's more, he died years before Mimiko's reign of terror started and his corpse shares a common trait of the other recent victims: coal dust lining their stomachs...
