He is interrupted by a wandering ronin named Jubei Kibagami. The two fight briefly until Tessai is injured, giving enough time for Jubei and Kagero to escape. The two battle to the death, with the rock demon meeting his demise. Benizato, a tattooed demon who can unleash snakes from her body, finds the dead rock warrior.
