  • The movie does not appear to be registered with the US copyright office, although does appear to have an English international title. This was listed as "Monkey Sun" in the book Distributed by Toho Special Effects Movies 1954-1994 (ISBN: T1065429631982).
  • A remake of Enoken's Songoku (1940). Both movies were directed by Kajiro Yamamoto and feature special effects by Eiji Tsuburaya.
