- Toho and Studio Pierrot filed the movie with the US Copyright Office on June 16th, 1992, under the registration number PA0000587270. The film was submitted under its rarely used international title, Kimagure Orange Road: Hearts on Fire, Love on the Stage! Springtime Idol, along with a hybrid English and Romaji title: "Kimagure Orange Road, Koi no Stage, Heart on Fire!--Haru Wa Idol". The listing also contains an alternate title for the show, "Carefree Days of Orange", which may have been presented to potential buyers in overseas markets.
