The film was submitted under its rarely used international title, Kimagure Orange Road: Hearts on Fire, Love on the Stage! Springtime Idol, along with a hybrid English and Romaji title: "Kimagure Orange Road, Koi no Stage, Heart on Fire!--Haru Wa Idol". The listing also contains an alternate title for the show, "Carefree Days of Orange", which may have been presented to potential buyers in overseas markets.
  • Based on the Japanese manga series "Kimagure Orange Road" (きまぐれオレンジ☆ロード - Kimagure Orenji☆ Rodo), written and illustrated by Izumi Matsumoto.
