  • Toho submitted the film to the US copyright office on August 31th, 1963 with the registration number of PA0000528433. The movie was submitted with its international title, Interpol Code 8, its Romaji title, Kokusai Himitsu Keisatsu: Shirei Daihachigo, and a shortened version of the Romaji title Shirei Daihachigo. Toho renewed this registration on May 1st, 1991.
  • The first entry in the International Secret Police series, which ended with The Killing Bottle (1967).
