Details
A ronin, struggling through some hard times, tries as hard as he possibly can to attract the attention of one of his late father's former acquaintances, who has managed to make a name for himself in feudal Edo. Meanwhile, a barber grapples with frequent attempts by a local crime syndicate to shut down his amateur gambling parties. As the ronin continually finds himself dismissed by his father's old friend, the barber decides that the syndicate's attempts at intimidation have gone too far and does something decidedly drastic...
