From the depths of the Fossa Magna, a conglomeration of mourning spirits forge into an overwhelming presence that proceeds to ravage Japan. All the while, brothers Kei and Dai, having to live life after the death of their father, find themselves stumbling into the mystical and supernatural world of the yokai. In a desperate attempt from the spirit world to stop the Yokaiju in its tracks, the yokai must use a chosen one from the lineage of the yokai hunter Tsuna Watanabe and awaken the warrior god Daimajin. During which the brothers, separated by mistake, undergo their own paths to save the world.
