In the mountains, a group of children is trained. Destined to become a secret task force of the Shogunate, the children are disciplined in cruel ways. Hardened from these experiences, the group becomes skilled in espionage and assassination. Forced to wear oni masks, the members are oblivious to each other's true identity. Before they can become true Demon Spies of the Shogunate, though, they have one assignment: kill their teachers. Afterwards, the group must take on a deadly mission to uncover a conspiracy...
