Office worker Sayuri Honda, who lives in Nagasaki, is a hopeless romantic. She wishes for the day that a dream man will sweep her off her feet and they'll travel together to July 24th Avenue in Lisbon, Portugal, a location she's idealized as paradise. However, dreams are interrupted when her old high school classmate, Satoshi Okuda who is now a lighting technician, begins making advances toward her. Showing interest, Honda ends up changing her appearance to try and please him. This ends up kicking up anxieties, though, as she decides to back off from reciprocating Okuda's advances. As Christmas nears, Honda starts to wonder how correctly to deal with Okuda and his feelings toward her...
