Traveling across the cosmos, a unique but cruel entity set its deadly gaze upon the Earth. Arriving in what appeared to be a small meteorite, it landed in Central Park and quickly became active. It all started so simply. It absorbed a child’s remote controlled car, gaining mobility. As it went unnoticed in the city, it gained more material. Soon, it became big enough to attack and invaded a tech store. H.E.A.T. was summoned and Craven quickly realized this was no mere robot. This was a living organism comprised of technology. It managed to escape, but Craven had a plan.
Craven developed an EMP cannon, believing it would kill the bizarre entity. By the time it appeared again, the thing had become giant in size. The weapon was fired, but the thing merely reflected it. The EMP shorted out the gun and the truck Craven was on. Before he could escape, the alien monster lashed out and assimilated the vehicle with Craven inside. Trapped, the mortal was helpless as the Techno-Sentient moved through the streets until it was challenged by Godzilla himself.
Against the King of the Monsters, the Techno-Sentient relied on its tentacles and acquired construction equipment. It was unable to defeat the nuclear reptile, but managed to escape when Godzilla got caught up in numerous electrical wires. While it may have shaken Godzilla off its trail for the time being, Craven was able to keep in direct communication with the H.E.A.T. team and informed them of what Techno-Sentient was up to thanks to the vast amounts of electronics within it.
The unsightly monster next targeted a train yard, but the United States army was ready for it, as were Godzilla and the H.E.A.T. team. A tremendous battle ensued while the realization was made that not only was it hacking coordinates, but it was plotting to use a nuclear warhead to bomb Baghdad. It hoped the retaliatory strike would cause a nuclear war among the nations, bringing mankind to its extinction so that only machines could exist. Reaching the desired rocket, it assimilated the launch pad and hacked the launch codes. It merely ignored Godzilla as the reptile tried to bite and attack it. However, inside the thing, Craven managed to get Randy a direct link to its core. Using its own link to the computer, Techno-Sentient's coordinates were changed to send it into outer space. At the same time, Elsie and Monique crashed a forklift into the grotesque body of the thing, bringing with them a bomb. Once inside, they were quickly reunited with Craven and the explosive detonated, allowing them to escape. Unknowing that its coordinates had been changed, the Techno-Sentient attached itself to the rocket as it launched. The nuclear missile headed directly into orbit and detonated safely outside Earth's atmosphere, annihilating the deadly entity in an instant. |
