With Ts-eh-GO, the so-called “First Wave”, deemed too uncontrollable, a Second Wave was created. Smaller and more versatile, this next generation of scorpion was hoped to fix all of the issues presented by the original scorpion. Unfortunately, they would never see the light of day to be properly field tested. When Ts-eh-GO went wild, it brought down a helicopter with its acid and the resulting crash not only freed the H.E.A.T. team, but several of the scorpions. Using N.I.G.E.L., the team lured the fugitive scorpions to the battle via pheromones generated from samples of Ts-eh-GO’s acid. Once the scorpions caught up and damaged the yellow robot, Nick ripped the pheromones from the machine and lured them to Ts-eh-GO himself. He threw the pheromones onto the larger scorpion. The smaller creatures quickly followed, climbing the huge arachnid and spraying it with their acid.
In a frenzy and unable to rid itself of the tiny terrors, Ts-eh-GO fell down a cliff and into the base. It sprayed more acid, but it only resulted in accidentally freeing more of the Second Wave. Swarmed by the white scorpions, Ts-eh-GO was ensnared in acidic webbing. As they webbed up their granddaddy scorpion, Second Wave was oblivious to Godzilla looming overhead. The nuclear reptile unleashed his signature atomic fire, reducing the man-made scorpions to burning embers. |
