Legend has it that the mythical Norzzug was once the protector of the lost city of Amun-Ra in Arabia. Its power was great, but it started to become too deadly. It became vital to put an end to the monster before it could destroy everything. In order to do this, Norzzug was placed underwater where it was rusted solid over the centuries. The creature’s record of existence all but vanished, but when its remains were uncovered in a dry lake bed, a special solution was applied to it to remove the rust. Without warning, the winged lion was on the move... and it was hungry.
It attacked three oil refineries, siphoning all of the oil from them. On its fourth attack, the creature gained the attention of the United States army and H.E.A.T. While following its trail, they intercepted it as it attacked its next target. Missiles were fired, but Norzzug merely protected itself via its maneuverable wings. Godzilla then arrived and the two giants collided, but Norzzug was unlike anything the King of the Monsters had ever fought. Its inorganic, iron body made it impervious to atomic fire, and its hurricane winds kicked up a fierce sandstorm. As Godzilla protected the H.E.A.T. team with his clawed hand, Norzzug turned and took off into the air.
Once further investigation was completed and the truth behind the iron monster was uncovered, it was decided to try and rust the living statue solid once again. Norzzug was lured into the salt mines via oil. Once it arrived, it began to feed. A chemical capable of generating rapid oxidization on metal once exposed to salt and sea water was then sprayed and dumped on it. Finally, Godzilla was summoned again. The beasts fought one another, but when Nick directed Godzilla take it to the water, the end of the mythical monster was signaled. Norzzug leapt onto Godzilla's back and was carried out into the ocean. It was submerged, but not for long. The winged feline climbed on top of a nearby cargo ship, but the chemicals coating its body reacted. Its iron hide began to oxidize, rusting the living statue solid once again. |
