Description

Spawned by radioactive lava, the mutant bees and their humongous queen transformed a luxurious resort into the perfect hive. When the H.E.A.T. team arrived to investigate, it was almost too late. The threat of the bees spreading to every continent was imminent. Randy was captured and taken to their hive while Craven and Monique struggled to escape their deadly stingers. They managed to use N.I.G.E.L. to weaken the queen and cause her to become drowsy, causing the airborne bees to lose stability and crash into the walls.

This allowed the group some time to escape, but the queen wasn’t out for long. She was again mobile, but this time Godzilla arrived to protect his adopted father. As the queen battled the atomic lizard, more bees swarmed and pelted the reptile with their stingers. Enraged, Godzilla fought on and soon his war against the queen led into the belly of the volcano itself. When the volcano blew again, the hive and its colony of mutant bees were completely annihilated.

Powers / Weapons

Flight

Just like ordinary bees, the mutated variety is capable of flight.

Stinger launch

The Mutant Bees, like their smaller brethren, are armed with a stinger on their abdomen. This stinger can be launched and instantly replenished in mere seconds, allowing the bees to strike a target numerous times from a distance.

Weaknesses

The Mutant Bees are controlled directly by their queen. Should she be weakened or tired, the bees will feel the same way.
