A bizarre Terror-Beast, Shipdraw began a relentless assault on Japan before being confronted by Zone Fighter and the Zone Family. It tried its best, but it couldn’t match the hero of justice's strength, destined to fall by his hands. However, before the death blow could be dealt, Zone Fighter’s shadow took a life of its own and became Shadorah. Unable to hurt this new threat, Zone Fighter was finally bested by the Garogas while Shadorah ushered Shipdraw to safety.
Powers / Weapons
Soft body
Despite its sturdy appearance, Shipdraw's body is actually soft and flabby. As a result, blunt attacks have absolutely no effect on it. This didn't prevent Zone Fighter from tossing the monster around by its tentacles, however.
Electric tentacles / Poisonous needles
While not used in combat, Shipdraw is capable of electrocuting its opponent with the tentacles on its head and hands. The tentacles also harbor needles filled with poison, making for a deadly combination once the unfortunate foe has been embraced.
Background and Trivia
According to Toho Special Effects: All Kaiju Illustrated Encyclopedia, its place of birth was on the planet Garoga Baron (ガロガバラン星 - Garogabaran Hoshi), the homeworld of the Garoga aliens. While its subtitle is listed as being "Abnormal Terror-Beast" (奇形恐獣 - Kikei Kyoju), it is merely referred to as "Terror-Beast" (恐獣 - Kyoju) during its entrance in the show.
Is one of the very few monsters in the series to live after fighting Zone Fighter. Whatever happened to Shipdraw following its battle remains unknown.
