Within the depths of space, the Garoga race encountered a glowing space organism named Jellar. With bulbous jelly-like flesh, the small monster was naturally resistant to sunlight and proton beams. Additionally, it was learned the jelly creature was capable of growing in size tremendously when exposed to oxygen. Armed with this knowledge, the Garoga quickly dispatched the creature in a hyperbolic capsule to Earth. However, the carrying ship was intercepted by the Zone Family before it could be activated. Greatly angered by their misgotten plans, the aliens captured Akira. Offering a trade, they sought to regain the blob monster and fulfill its mission. Yet the trade was not as planned, and in the confusion, Jellar was unleashed. Now massive in size and howling in a banshee-like manner, the genetic freak stood posed to fight the newly arrived Zone Fighter. The resulting battle soon revealed to the Earthly savior the uselessness of his Meteor Proton Beam. It seemed as if defeat would befall the hero, until the sudden arrival of the summoned Godzilla.
Running into the fray, the leviathan managed to tear free one of Jellar's limbs. The severed appendage wormed from his grasp and exploded, showing to the world another ability programmed into the Garoga weapon's DNA. Walking through the smoke, a smaller version of the Jellar, dubbed Custom-Jellar, immediately joined the ranks of its kin. Attacking Godzilla and Zone Fighter, an enlarged brawl was witnessed, but even the combined strength of the Terror-Beasts could not stand up to Earth's protectors. With the combination of Meteor Missile Might and atomic breath, Zone Fighter and Godzilla reduced the twin horrors into pools of sappy slime which proceeded to dissolve into nothing. |
