Appearing unexpectedly in the Antarctic, a new species of mole-like animals had no choice but to start hunting humans when they exhausted the ecosystem’s food supply. A team of scientists looking for oil were on the menu and their disappearance prompted an investigation from both the company and the H.E.A.T. team. Shortly after capturing a baby Ice Borer, Nick and Monique were cornered by a host of monstrous-sized adults. The beasts nearly had the pair for lunch if it wasn’t for the arriving Godzilla. The King of the Monsters battled the five mole monsters, but they swarmed him. The added weight on his body caused the soft snow and ice to give way, sending the warring giants into the abyss.
Now stranded on a large ice plateau, the group began to devise liquid nitrogen guns to freeze the monsters and put an end to their extremely hot body temperature that allowed them to tunnel through the thick ice sheets. The weapons were finished just in the nick of time for the Ice Borers attacked once more, pushing forward but the guns could only fire a handful of times before breaking. Several of the beasts were brought down by the liquid nitrogen, but not nearly fast enough.
Thankfully, the ice suddenly broke apart and Godzilla rose up. The reptile ambushed the remaining Ice Borers, using his sheer size and nuclear fire to bring an end to the monstrous mammals once and for all, alongside some well aimed shots of liquid nitrogen from his human allies. As the ordeal came to an end, the missing oil workers and even their sled dogs were found a short distance away. The beasts had only captured them and had yet to start their meal. |
