A predatory mutation, the Giant Turtle roamed the arctic waters in search for prey. After it attacked their cruise ship, Nick and Audrey washed ashore on a deserted island and were found by the monster the following day. As they fled from its snapping jaws, another mutation made its presence known. Komodithrax, a colossal Komodo dragon, attacked the turtle and pushed it into a mountain of ice. An avalanche followed, but as the ice came down, the turtle retracted its limbs into its shell for protection. While the reptile was buried alive, it was far from dead.
 Sometime after Godzilla became involved with the mutated lizard and became a surrogate father to her egg, the turtle returned. It ventured into the tropical paradise hidden within the ice in a hunt for food. Desiring to feed on her egg, the turtle became involved in a colossal war between the reptiles and the local military force that wished to annihilate all of the mutations in the area. It attacked Komodithrax, and with its beneficial armor and the missile strikes from the helicopters, the turtle was the victor. While Komodithrax was nearly killed, the turtle grabbed the egg and took it out of the volcanic paradise and back to the frozen tundra outside.
Just as it began to break open the shell, Godzilla appeared for battle. Enraged at the damage it had already done, the King of the Monsters unleashed his fury on the turtle. However, not even his atomic ray could break the turtle's powerful shell. Utilizing its brute strength and club tail, the Giant Turtle overpowered Godzilla. As it moved in for the kill, Komodithrax returned and pushed the turtle into an icy crevice. Clinging to the ice with its claws, the reptile’s great weight acted against it. As it slipped, it lashed out and grabbed Komodithrax’s leg with its jaws. It pulled her down as well, dragging with her the egg. All three vanished into the darkness of the seemingly bottomless crevice, never to be seen again. |
