Having linked in to one of Maximillian Spiel's network satellites, Animal manages to capture a live feed of the Giant Centipede and Shrewster squaring off in a giant arena. In the background, they spot the face of Godzilla, who is watching the battle unfold while contained inside the barracks of the massive mutant enclosure.
By the time Nick and Elsie sneak into the facility while disguised as waiters, they only briefly bear witness to the defeated Giant Centipede. The mutant arthropod can only squeal loudly as its limp body is forcefully dragged off the field and into the concrete barracks. Its fate following its loss remains unknown. |
