When human prey fled into the Croc's domain in pursuit of safety from Annie's Dog, the Croc was quick to capitalize on the unaware creatures. Teeth and scale descended first upon the largest of the three. Then, predatory senses honed in on the remaining pair - Mike and Charlie. The humans quickly retreated, using a nearby river's current to make up for their slow movement, but the Croc demonstrated remarkable agility by keeping pace on the river's shores. Only when his prey descended over the waterfall did reservations of braving the torrential feature fade away.
After performing a belly flop off the waterfall's edge, the Croc resumed his hunt. But unbeknownst to him, the Guardian of Skull Island was watching from afar and deemed the reptile a perfect meal. With a quick snap of mammalian fingers, the Croc was ripped from Skull Island's waters just as the reptile was about to reach Mike and Charlie. His predatory pursuit was forever lost as like so many creatures on the island, he had been consumed by a far larger predator. |
