Description

Essentially the silver bird, which is held in holiest of faiths, is the living symbol of the benevolent and gentle mother of the gods, Oorchiriou. The phoenix is the only glimpse of the goddess' power that mortals are allowed to bear witness. Oorchiriou would only send the metallic guardian into the human realm to protect those whose lives would change the path of fate. As was the case when Amano Shiratori was summoned forth to save the infant Osu from plummeting off a cliff to his doom. The silver bird then returned the young prince to his rightful birth parents, before taking off into the night sky.

The next time Osu would see this radiant bird was many years later during his final battle with the hydra Orochi. Streaking through the black cavern of the night, the Phoenix swooped in and picked up both Osu and Oto from harm. Together, the three charged forward, Osu using his sword, and Oto with her mystic fireballs. However, their efforts were in vain, and Orochi cast them into the voids of darkness, destroying Amano Shiratori for the time being.
