Re: Prehistoric Planet 2022
Personally I want at least one more season set in the Masstricthian there's so much more to cover in that time period.

Re: Prehistoric Planet 2022
gib triasic episode with all the non dinosaurs post synapsid rule weirdoes
the monkey reptile with a clawwed tail, nothosaurus, ichtyosauurs already being the terror of the seas, pterosaurus being already in the air, weird bugs, synapsids and archosaurids as minor players that both wll inherit the world, phitosaurus not being actual crocs.
triasic period my beloved

Re: Prehistoric Planet 2022
Personally, I'd prefer if they covered The Late Jurassic this time around (lord knows their takes on Allosaurus, Stegosaurus, and the assorted morrison sauropods would look amazing), but it should still be great. I'm certainly interested in seeing what else they do with their T-Rexes whose designs I'm loving more and more with each rewatch.DynomikeGojira wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:28 pm Season 2 confirmed and coming out this year.

Re: Prehistoric Planet 2022
I'm actually glad that we're still in the Masstricthian since I felt they only scratched the surface of that time like we didn't get any crocs, pachycheplosaurids, barely any mammals or abelisaurids so I'm hopeful we'll get them this time but if we get a third season I hope it's a different time period preferably Cenimonian.Leviarex wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 1:02 pmPersonally, I'd prefer if they covered The Late Jurassic this time around (lord knows their takes on Allosaurus, Stegosaurus, and the assorted morrison sauropods would look amazing), but it should still be great. Re: Prehistoric Planet 2022
I hope they actually show the T-Rex hunt and kill something for food this time. Maybe they could show a family of Rexes working together like pack animals.

Awesome, can't wait for it! I've really been into paleontology lately, so this should be fantastic. Hopefully we get even more seasons.

They should try taking advantage of the fact they discovered a fossilized dinosaur larynx.

Re: Prehistoric Planet 2022
Im pretty sure they intentionally avoided that as to not push this stereotype that the only thing dinosaurs do is hunt and kill things. Would be cool though. Love the idea of pack hunting rexes.LegendZilla wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 5:04 pm I hope they actually show the T-Rex hunt and kill something for food this time. Re: Prehistoric Planet 2022
There is a big difference between killing to survive and killing for the sake of it. As long as they emphasize on the former aspect, all should be fine.Executive Hamster wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 4:21 amIm pretty sure they intentionally avoided that as to not push this stereotype that the only thing dinosaurs do is hunt and kill things. Those male Triceratops look phenomenally cool. Gives me huge Death of a Dynasty vibes.
