Beloved voice actor Kirby Marrow who voice many beloved characters from Goku in the Ocean dub of the Majin Buu saga, Miroku in Inuyasha, and Trowa from Gundam Wing has died at the age of 47.
Aw man that sucks. I absolutely loved him as Miroku. All this just as the new Inuyasha series dropped. I can't imagine any other English voice actor in the role.

The man behind the mask, David Prowse, has passed at 85 after a short battle with an unknown illness. Though most famous as the original face of Anakin Skywalker he was also a famous bodybuilder and a two time Frankenstein's monster for Hammer Film.

Not a Star Wars fan, but dang. Huge loss for cinema. R.I.P

Two deaths that I noticed haven't been posted here: David Lander (best known as Squiggy from Laverne & Shirley died of multiple sclerosis a few days back. Also, Natalie Desselle-Reid lost against colon cancer today.
I never watched the show, but that's still super sad, especially given how young she was.
Osamu Sakuta, who played the titular role in Seiun Kamen Machineman (Nebula Mask Machineman) has passed away according to friends at 62. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2 ... ay/.167183
Once more, I have not seen much of the series, but any loss in the Tokusatsu community is a sad one.
One of Hollywood's all time great movie thugs Tommy "Tiny" Lister (The Fifth Element, Friday, The Dark Knight) has died at age 62 of possible Covid complications. The African American actor known for his intimidating voice and hulking frame was famous for playing thugs and henchmen on the big screen. He also had a short stints as wrestlers for both the WWF (Zeus) and WCW (Z-Gangsta).

Another from a galaxy far far away is gone. Jeremy Bulloch, the original Boba Fett, has passed. Man and so soon after David Prowse.

I only read Crab's Moon, which was a very mean-spirited, misanthropic book for being about killer crabs attacking a summer camp. Sad to hear about his passing, nonetheless.
MF Doom was a legend. 2020 just had to do one final blow
His "Godzilla" album was great, I'm definitely gonna be blasting his records this year. He had a such a lyrical talent.
