Yeah, I thought I was just seeing things myself until a rewatch. A pretty disturbing but neat detail.

Guys I'm surprised, I'm actually getting real excited for this. This looks like it will be a romp.

That clip was awesome. Godzilla smashing battleships, something I've wanted see in CGI for a long time. It looks very impressive.

It blows.

You get the first few Ifukube notes that gets you pumped for the classic theme and then devolves into generic crap.

Godzilla165 wrote: Fri Feb 26, 2021 9:26 am Godzilla is a skreeonking beast, Jesus. Just casually dragging the destroyed half of a ship after death rolling on top of it like an oversized, roided out crocodile. It seemed intentional, too, so is he literally trying to use the ship as a makeshift mace or something?

Also, that despairing Godzilla march theme is just... *Chef’s kiss*.
It's not the Godzilla March theme.

Just imitation Ifukube.

My guess is they go on sale the day of the second trailer, whenever that is--first week of March most likely

I just realized that both monsters have a girl rooting for them on the side. Jia for Kong and Madison for Godzilla. Kind of hope there is a scene the two meet and we get a good compare and contrast between them.

My god! I've stopped watching any TV spots, trailers, or clips. But I've seen screenshots, and the CGI in this looks fucking amazing!!!! Compare this to some of the shots from KOTM, and it's day and night!

Love that shot of Ren looking at Godzilla emerging in HK from afar. Has a pretty haunting vibe. Between the awesome compositions and effects the cinematography looks like a marvel to behold.

SDCC is online again this year, if there's more monsterVerse after GvK I feel this is where they'll announce the next slate
