My set just arrived today, and WOW. Fantastic build quality, artwork looks amazing, and from what I've listened to so far the audio is great. Very very pleased!

When did you order yours? Because I ordered mine on March 28 and haven’t received a tracking number yet.

I preordered on day 1. If you check their site they say some orders after a specific date will be shipped later than June.

Yeah, after May, so I’m just assuming they’re gonna ship them out in order they were placed.

Yeah. These are individually packaged (it comes with a nice card that says who did it) so I can imagine they will take some time.

Unlikely, but possible. The founder of Waxworks is a big Showa fan and from what I’ve read, mostly just wanted to get those movies specifically on Vinyl. They do make soundtracks of a lot of obscure movies, so I wouldn’t rule out them making more, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for it either.

That looks like such a nice set it almost makes me wish I’d ordered it. But even though we do own a turntable, practicality means I’d rarely ever actually use it. Just couldn’t justify the price tag for something I’d probably never actually use. Now, if they did individual album releases in the future I might be unable to resist picking up a couple favorites.

Or a Heisei set at a lower price point (due to the smaller number of albums) might be tempting enough too.

Waxwork's vinyl release of the King Kong Escapes is now up for preorder (it's expected to ship on June 30).

We need a complete list of who makes what lol I can't keep up. I have a few of these. Going to try to collect them all I think.
