Which Godzilla suit is better Tokyo SOS or Final Wars

I am not a fan of the FW suit, so I am gonna side with Kiryu-Goji. The head on the FW suit especially looks rather bad in my opinion. The Kryu-Goji suit at least looks like one of my favorite suits, Mire-Goji. I much rather have seen something more like the concept art for FW

Same here, I mean the way the dorsal spines are, it reminds me too much of that tuna head who was never up to much.

That's funny, because that's what most people (me included) don't like about the suit. Those aspects looked absolutely ridiculous. Personally, I'm glad things were toned down for the Kiryu-Goji.

The jagged, reptilian maw looked "absolutely ridiculous" but the Gonzo face doesn't?

Nope. Looks a little dopey in GxMG, but it was refined for TOKYO S.O.S and turned out better. Nowhere near as bad as the snaggletoothed Mire-Goji with those silly looking purple back plates.

Sorry, but the Gonzo snout "Kiryu-Goji" suits are some of the worst of the series imo...they just look awful from front/heads on camera shots/angles. They also came off very stiff and immobile on screen. The GFW suit is far from perfect and not necessarily one of my favs (in fact, I don't really care for any of the millennium suits in general), but it looks like a Michelangelo sculpture compared to the dreaded Kiryu-Goji suits. The GFW suit as a whole was a nice blending of showa/heisei/millennium elements and gives Godzilla a slimmed look while still maintaining a powerful image. But having a rather expression-less face hurt it somewhat, but I think alot of "hate" for the GFW suit comes from the film it's from instead of the merits of the suit itself. Overall, it was a decent "serviceable" suit, and I'll take it *anyday* over Gonzo-zilla....

Although I like the more agile and athletic look of the GFW suit and Godzilla Final Wars is my favorite Godzilla movie, it is not my favorite suit. I much prefer the Tokyo S.O.S. suit mainly due to the head looking much better. I know the suits from both Against Mechagodzilla and Tokyo S.O.S. look kind of awkward to move around and less mobile but I like my Godzilla to have sort of a bulky body and to be that slow nuclear explosion style sometimes.

The Tokyo SOS suit is very much the default "2K" Godzilla and it's a very modern design. Very aggressively designed and sharp and angular, which makes a weird contrast considering that he acts kind of docile and dopey in both films. I'm not at all a fan of the cobra neck look, which is just expanded to obnoxious proportions in this design.

I very much prefer the design of the FW suit. It has some really weird bad points (what the fuck is with the fingernails? What about GD claws?), particularly the spines which need a complete overhaul entirely. But overall, it's a plainer and simpler and a bit more timeless suit design for me, so it's my second favorite Millennium suit (behind GMK).

Final-Goji is basically a slimmed-down Heisei Godzilla, and I do like it for that. However, I think they slimmed it down a little TOO much.

My only major complaint with the design of Kiryu-Goji is how small his head is. Otherwise, I like it a lot. Someone mentioned a while back that this Goji and the Heisei Goji are similar in personality, and I can see that now; they're both portrayed as mighty forces of nature, and have this almost regal sense of power to them.
One difference I've recently noticed, however, is in the facial expressions. Heisei Godzilla looks like he's saying, "You wanna fight? COME AND GET IT." He's the boss and he knows it, and he enjoys showing off that power.
Kiryu-Goji, on the other hand, has this look of condescension to him, as if he's saying, "How DARE you enter my territory! How DARE you challenge me!" He isn't as much of a bully like Heisei-Goji as much as he is an arrogant tyrant who expects absolute submission.

Yeah the head in the FW suit is too small. Other than that I do like it but the SOS suit is better. In my opinion.

Yeah, in GXMG Godzilla's face looked a bit goofy, but I like how they fixed it up some in TOKYO SOS. It's kinda like with the MosuGoji suit, in Mothra vs Godzilla the face was all wobbly & it looked like the mouth didn't move much, but in Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster, the managed to straighten things up with the head.

That's the main reason I like that suit over the G 2000; I never really liked the enormous purple spikes. Anyway, that's definitely my favorite design, though for flexibility and mobility the GFW suit is obviously better. Overall though I'm still in Kiryu Goji's corner.

I agree with you 100%, while Godzilla (2000) did look badass, I didn't really like the purple dorsal spikes. I like the kiryugoji, because it's sort of like a cross between the 2000 Godzilla & the Heisei Godzilla, the reptilian charcoal grey skin, the silver dorsal spikes, & of course the blue atomic ray.

SoS Godzilla just looks cooler and is one of my favorites. The face feels more reptillian and his spikes are awesome. Final Wars Godzilla is too skiny

Personally, and I know this isn't a choice but I take GMK Godzilla over them any day. That suit has such a power to it. When filmed right, you believe your watching a giant monster.
