I finally watched the 1980 Popeye film (starring Robin Williams) for the first time last night.

Unusual film, it was perhaps too long, and the songs were pretty hit-and-miss, but still charming, and Williams's humorous mumbling as the Sailor Man stole the show.
Friends don't lie.

The other night I watched L.A. Confidential, and I really enjoyed it. Good stuff.
