Aquaman drowns 2 lizards and floods the Matrix. Somehow. From all the way in another universe called the MCU. From NYC. You know what don't think too much about it.

Aquaman's sheer stats on land alone are enough to overwhelm the Skullcrawlers, and whilst he is easily slower than Morpheus and Trinity who can keep up with bullet timing agents iirc, he more than makes up for it in superior physicals and durability already. Add the water nearby and he can easily just drown them.

Trinity and Morpheus facing the Skullcrawlers sounds like a pretty cool battle given the two sides excel in very different areas. Unfortunately, Aquaman just kind of steamrolls both with his ludicrous strength and the Trident of Atlan. The fact that this takes place on the Statue of Liberty means he can just hop into and command the water, along with any creatures in the vicinity. Even if you argue he isn't as fast as Trinity and Morpheus, it doesn't mean much when they can hardly scratch them. One tidal wave or blow is enough for any of Arthur's opponents.
