Didn't say Gamera was going to be a villain btw. He's a Godzilla level hero. Along with Kong and Mothra.

And as such his introduction should be with that of a villain the big three can't beat alone. Destoroyah is a good start.

As he can generate an army of drones. Also another option Ghidorah. It seems his presence is not yet faded in the MV. I feel like more plans are still going in motion. Especially considering Godzilla never destroyed the skull.

So maybe since Godzilla doesn't sense Ghidorah's presence anymore, Titans gradually awaken. However, Ghidorah can still haunt the Monsterverse via its DNA. A Destroyah-like creature or other new creations would be welcome. In a bogus early leak, sea lice pumped up with MUTO and Ghidorah DNA were supposed to be used on G. I think that would be cool.

Not gonna lie I would love for a 4 way team-up of Godzilla, Kong, Gamera, and Ultraman. Arguably the Big 4 when it comes to the kaiju genre.

SpaceGodzilla is honestly more ridiculous than Gamera. I mean Godzilla cells fused with black hole and created...this?!?



Although, I could buy something like ASM's Godzilla Youtube series.

In which Godzilla is knocked out and captured by aliens and he himself is mutated into Space Godzilla. However he escapes and wreaks havoc on the aliens planet that captured him.

I feel like a more streamlined version of this plot where Monarch take Kong and co to save Godzilla. Only for him to already have saved himself.

Yeah, but I doubt anything we come up with will be crazier than the official thing. Alot of fans assumed MechaGhidorah would be the team up villain in GvK prior to any news and we were somewhat right.

There's only so many places you can go with the stories without taking it out of what the genre is completely. That isn't to say I don't doubt Legendary will do sum different.

Just that whatever differences they make in the general scheme of fan ideas and official Godzilla content have all already been done in some way, shape or form.

We're not really suggesting anything that they likely aren't suggesting now in the writers room for the sequels.

One thing is for sure — going forward, we do need Godzilla film(s) that will feature at least two or more upper-tier villains; sharing the big screen.

The one thing that makes me adverse to Dougherty directing another MV film is his fight choreography. Blegh. The final Boston fights shit quality was what ruined KOTM for me

I’d like Dougherty to stay by as a creative consultant at least. I feel he could help nail the personality and mythos of each Titan, depending on who leads.

If Bagan ever gets the much deserved appearance in film it is most likely not going to be in the Monsterverse.

Considering how much of a fan Dougherty is and how Ghidorah's DNA works I could seenhim trying to use Bagan. He's a big enough fan that he wants Gamera to come into the MV.

I certainly hope so so let's all hope you are right. I am not the biggest fan of Bagan but it would certainly be a very interesting thing to see him in a movie. Imagine being able to say "yeah that monster has been trying to get into a movie for over thirty years and just now gets to be in one! Throwing Gamera in would also be pretty interesting. A universe that has pretty all of the essential kaiju. Godzilla and his Toho crew, Kong, and Gamera. It will probably be a copyright nightmare to reserve the rights but if it ever happens there is certainly the potential for the jackpot!

Honestly, I don't think it really will be. Gamera is extremely irrelevant now in Japan while the Monsterverse is booming. Kadokawa (or whoever has the rights now) would be dumb to miss this opportunity and I'm sure the Gamera rights are cheap. The main hurdle I would argue is how Toho will take this and whether they would be fine with Gamera joining in the universe. Maybe if they convince Toho that Gamera is lesser than Godzilla and that in their Versus movie Godzilla would win, then they would be on board lol
