From the film I think, yet still as gorgeous as the concept art itself

It is was in the ending credits in the newspaper article.

I prayed Sandra wouldn’t catch a whiff, talk about Endgame....just gross.

And yet there are people who call the cg in this movie "ugly" and "video game like" smh. (Yes this is a still image and the cg does vary from scene to scene and not all shots are that good but overall I found it to be breathtaking)

“Video game cgi” is a bad complaint nowadays because video game visuals have evolved dramatically since the days of the PS1, PS2, etc. Anyone who uses that unironically can be ignored as they have no idea what they’re talking about.

Yeah nowadays, video game visuals are gorgeous, next level stuff.

KOTM was like concept art brought to life, Idk if you guys ever look at concept art for modern films and think "wow, what we ended up getting was way toned down compared to what we could've gotten". But I was so glad to see the beautiful artistry fully utilized and in effect.

It has to be! I'm thinking it's curled all the way up, I wonder how he eats trees? (If that's in his diet at all lol)

It seems pretty clear now with this HD pic that he's some form of evolved Proboscidea. I've heard that he had some traits of a Giant Sloth? I'm assuming it's just his body shape, and if so, I wonder if he has flat front feet like an Elephant, or claws like a sloth?

On top of all those questions, how the heck does a Mammoth evolve into a Sloth hybrid?

Well according to the novel, the Skullcrawlers are raising hell on Skull Island, not only that, but a flock of Leafwings have escaped the storms around Skull Island and joined Scylla, Behemoth, Methusulah, Rodan, and Muto 3 in Boston.

welp, i think that's a clue for GVK's plot. Skullcrawlers leave the island and head to mainland and Kong follows them to make sure they don't wreck havoc, but comes face to face with Godzilla. meanwhile the Skullcrawlers go after the other titans and humans.

I thought Mike even made comment on Twitter that you can see some Leafwings at the end shot.

Did he? I don't recall him tweeting about Leafwings

And people are saying King Kong wasn't doing shit. He may not care what happens off his island, but his keeping the Skullcrawlers from leaving probably helped save lives, less monsters for the rest of the world to deal with.

He did he confirmed that the little flying things flying around during the bowing scene were meant to be Leafwings

You can tell by the image that he knuckle-walks and has long, curved sloth-like claws on each forelimb. Also, ignoring the tusks, his head is shaped like a giant ground sloth's head.

Oh wow I thought it was excess fur at first lol! Those are some massive claws...

But while I agree the body does look like a Giant Sloth, I feel like the skull itself is much closer to a Mammoth than a Ground Sloth.
