Which Legendary Godzilla Design Do You Prefer

The correct opinion is to say 2014 is superior.

2019: actually gave him dumber looking feet, butchered his tail, shrunk his head, and he looks chunkier. And the spikes...they are classic but don't really fit his body structure. All they had to do was make the ones from 2014 bigger and maybe colorize them a bit.

I don't think the 2019/21 look is perfect (would be neat to get a bigger head, frosted tips, and the return of the sharp tail), but I really like how it mixes in classic traits without having them take over the overall design, and emphasizes some elements from the 2014 version (ex: the glowing spine patterns are more symmetrical/noticeable)

Right now G19 because he looks so much more powerful to me.

Personally I would bring back the G14 tail and maybe the G14 spikes but make them bigger.

I actually prefer the later design because I'm lame and want Godzilla to stay the same, but I voted 2014 because the movie's the best, and G. Edwards deserves the sand grain of clout

I’ve kind of gone back to preferring the 19/21 look.

In short though, I love the MV Godzilla in general and it’s my favorite incarnation by a long shot.

I’m sure the design will be tweaked to have a bigger head at the very least in 2023 if Wingard’s past comments indicate anything.

Since Wingard said personally he wanted to up the head size in GvsK I wouldn't mind bringing the G14 head and tail back.

I would not mind if they kept the look of 2014, but I do prefer the dorsal fins of 2019/2021 more. Idk I am in the middle since I like parts of 2014 and 2029/2021 and there are things I do not like 2014 and 2019/2021

they just made 14'goji be thicker and weird, honestly fits with the dumb tone of the movie that design was born into a grounded movie idea, not to akwardly run at ghidorah and mecha g for an anime power clash.
