I’ll start with my two Godzilla and Kong film pitches.
Godzilla Returns
Spoiler:
One half of the story is about Monarch investigating strange, hostile plant life glowing sporadically across the globe. The other half is Godzilla following his senses and tracking down the disturbance himself, all while managing the restless Titans growing agitated by the mysterious flora.
The “plant life” is, of course, Biollante.
Biollante’s goal is to get to the Hollow Earth and consume its energy to ease the pain of her existence.
The villain is a mad, grief ridden husband/scientist who created a monster out of anger towards Godzilla and longing for his deceased wife. He mixed Godzilla DNA retrieved from the battle ground of San Francisco, DNA from his wife’s corpse, and DNA from a bouquet of flowers to create a creature to unleash his grief on the world and the king of the monsters. Basically Goro Maki but possibly even more insane.
A lot of allusions to Frankenstein and his monster with the scientist and Biollante.
There’s more of a focus on Godzilla and his character, since Legendary wants to take the MV into a more “monster oriented” direction and explore them some more.
Godzilla goes through the movie and faces things like aggressive military, Titans, and Biollante-infected Titans.
The final battle between Godzilla and Biollante takes place in Dubai. There’s one standout scene where Biollante uses her vines to grab hold of Godzilla, lifts him high into the air, and throws him through the Burj Khalifa,
Godzilla has a moral dilemma in his final battle. Kill a remnant of his long lost species or fulfill his duty and cleanse the earth of the abomination. He, of course, ends up choosing the latter and blasts Biollante’s reddish-orange center and she cries out in pain,
The mad scientist ends up dying by the corrosive meltdown of Biollante.
After finishing the fight, Godzilla would do as he always does and wade out to sea, restoring balance once more.

Kong: Hollow Earth
Spoiler:
The story follows Monarch (mainly Nathan Lind, Ilene Andrews, and Jia) all accompanying and assisting Kong during his battle for supremacy. They’re side characters, for the most part.
The real meat of the story is with Kong. At the beginning of the film, Kong lets out a loud roar. The roar is heard by all creatures in the Hollow Earth and is taken as an “I am the Alpha” call. What ensues is wave after wave of Titans and monsters all going after Kong to claim the title of “king” for themselves.
No specific villain.
Kong is basically on the run and goes through all the different biomes and terrain of the Hollow Earth, learning even more of the worlds past and lore through his journey.
One scene would be Kong running away from a bigger bird like creature with a long, spiked tongue. Hopping from giant floating island to giant floating island and swinging on large vines and rock formations. He ends up jumping on its back and forcefully riding it (by using his axe and putting it in a choke hold) into one of the mountains, killing it.
The final battle would be a free-for-all battle royale between Kong and a shit ton of other Titans/Monsters in a bioluminescent, giant volcano filled landscape. The victor in the end would, of course, be Kong. Keeping his rightful title of “King”.
