The protagonist to the 2014 Godzilla film played by Aaron Taylor Johnson.

Honestly? I miss him. I'm surprised he wasn't recruited into Monarch. I can't think of a better person to pilot Mecha Godzilla if that character appears.

I didn’t have a problem with his character as many others around here seemed to, but I could care less either way. Could take it or leave it.

I wouldn't mind if he was back in a secondary role. Kind of like Stenz. Show up for a few scenes, get a few lines. As long as he's not the focal point of the movie, it'd actually be pretty interesting. I'm sure he earned some medals and has been quite the worldwide celebrity for his actions in 2014.

They could show he's been honorably discharged due to exposure from the SF nuke giving him cancer.

I'd be down for it. Not as the main character but a role like Admiral Stenz or even smaller. Heck I'd love him to be a main character in a MonsterVerse comic. Birth of Kong and Aftershock were really great IMO.

Aaron Taylor Johnson is actually a pretty great actor. Don't blame him because Gareth Edwards directed him to act stoic the entire film.

What if they adjusted the directing or wrote him a little differently?

Yeah he is, I've said it for the longest, he was acting as a stoic soldier who dealt with tragedy as a kid and enlisted as soon as he could, he's not going to be the most emotional person in the film because his character just doesn't call for it. He did great.
