That’s what you THINK or is that from the spoiler thread?

I’d rather not see either of those changes. Darker fur, sure. But not black or grey.

And not balding.

What if he visits the Arctic or the Himalayas for a bit and whilst there he becomes white like a giant yeti and gains ice powers.

Ice powers to use against Godzilla.

Man, that drinking game Hokmuto came up with really would be dangerous.

Realism has nothing to do with that, Kong turning into a fucking yeti and getting ice powers because he went to a cold place for a bit is just plain dumb and from the sounds of it, wasn't even a genuine suggestion.

I did some estimates and got pretty much this height +/-5 or so meters.

Image
By measuring the ratio of length in pixels of Godzilla's muzzle vs. Kong's brow-to-nose distance, I was able to formulate an estimation on how big Kong is. What I did was after finding that ratio (Kong's brow-to-nose is roughly 35% longer because he has a rather tall head), I then found the ratio of Kong's Brow-To-Nose distance vs. his entire body height. Kong's body is just under 12x his Brow-To-Nose distance. I then got Godzilla's snout-to-total-height ratio and plugged in his KOTM height with the assumption he's not getting any bigger. I plugged that in to find the pixel height of the Godzilla vector I got to find out how many pixels made up a meter. From there I figured out how long his snout was, and then I could use the first ratio to figure out how tall GvK Kong's brow-to-nose distance was. From there I multiplied it by 11.89 and got how many pixels tall the GvK Kong should be. I found he should be roughly 2.817-2.881x taller than he was in the Skull Island picture, which I will note I had no scaled just yet as that would throw off my measurements. I instead then went back to the pixel to meter ratio and scaled Kong off the Godzilla vector. Bit more number crunches and I got a height of 92-100 meters depending on measurements.

War paint. I don't care if King Kong found clay and painted himself or the Iwi painted him. I just think it'd be cool if for the last battle King Kong walks into the battle against Godzilla covered in war paint, carrying a mesh-mash of random metals he gathered to act as a literal flame shield for Godzilla's breath.

For a Toho movie maybe, let's not go too far on the camp wagon on this one by having a giant animal apply warpaint on itself. (Even if it is pretty cool)

Let's not forget Kong is smart for a Titan, he's not just an overgrown gorilla. Primates are smart creatures, now imagine one with a brain the size of a house, I wouldn't put it past him if he showed up with some kinda tribal war paint on his face.

Remember, some concept art for Skull Island consisted of Kong being a literal King, aware of his title.

So are we lol.

Kong's Batman to Godzilla's Man of Steel, seems like fair game.

Kong is insanely smart. I'd argue that he is the closest living relative to humans in the Monsterverse. Dude is pretty much Super Bigfoot.

No, it doesn't. This isn't the Showa series. Kong's intelligence scale should not include him putting on War paint and making weapons like the Kaiju version of Tony Stark.

Hes still an animal and I'd rather not have people's suspension of disbelief challenged to such an extreme extent. Next thing you know, Kong will show up with bamboo armor and viking helmet

But you don't see apes crafting weapons and smearing war paint before they fight other animals.

I'm not saying we can't have Kong using the environment to fight (Kong using the roof of a building as a shield against Godzilla's atomic breath for example would be fine) but cognitively creating tools and wearing apparel is a little out there

It stands to reason after encountering Godzilla the first time, Kong would bring something, even just a big boulder to use as a shield from Godzilla's Atomic Breath.

He's a movie monster, he's smarter than most animals and is related to us. The only reason his kind never evolved to make technology is they never needed to because of their insane size and strength, only using tools occasionally when fighting hand to hand is not enough.
