Kong 2020 Design Thread

Figured it’s about time we got this going...

What do you all want to see?? This is really the only thing I care to know going into the movie in 2020. I’m assuming Godzilla will largely have the same design as 2019.

Me-I like the idea of Kong looking largely like he did in Skull Island except a bigger body vs head ratio, more scars and maybe some sort of approximation of a Spartan esque beard

I think that Kong won't deviate from how he looked in 1971 that much. Maybe shaggier fur with grey highlights and a more prominent beard.

Kong 2017 is hands down my favorite design of Kong ever and I’m about as big of a Kong fan as I am Godzilla.

I love kong design in skull island (he look so real), just bigger cause he's gonna be an adult.

If they could do something like that with godzilla's face(put emotion in it) i'll be happy.

Godzilla had tons of emotion in his face in KOTM.

Godzilla is about as expressive as he can be. Kong should have him beat there.

Not related but the only change I would want with Godzilla is grey spines and a longer tail.

That's probably the aesthetic they'll go for, though. Older, scarred from the battles he had, bigger. Like Gamera from 1 to 3. He changed a lot, looking more rugged and experienced.

My main thing is that they shouldn't repeat what 2005 did I'm certainly fine with him looking older and more rugged but not as much as 2005

the thought of king having a beard really intrigues me.

I for one, would like to see grey fur and more scars.

He looks to have black fur in the GVK poster (i know it's kinda black and white), it'd be cool if as his species gets older, their fur darkens.

I'd like to see him have:
Dark brown-black fur
Scars
A not-so-obvious beard
And some massive muscles
