Well Dougherty did that several times in the course of his film - ignoring previous characterization for the sake of the plot - so I can't say I'd be surprised.

Anyway, it wouldn't be totally out of character. That part when Godzilla emerged from the water and then took a not-so-nice long stare at the humans on the submarine gave off a real "I'm starting to get sick of humans' shit" vibe, to me. Like a warning that he knew who was causing all this chaos and was running out of patience.

Eh figure I’d post a wish...if a battle takes place on Skull Island,, I’d like some type of rumble and in the midst of it Godzilla emerges not from the water but the hollow earth, the graveyard and maybe have it preceded by any of the little skull crawlers scrambling out first like minnows from a larger fish, he emerges showing just how massive he is in the context of KS;I’s scenes there.

Definitely the most plausible leak so far. I'm still reluctant to believe it, but I will say, that I appreciate that he didn't spoil the victor. At least he kind of didn't spoil it.

>Behemoth is the new Anguirus, aka Godzilla's "sidekick".
>Rodan lives, but put into a hibernation state after being hit by MG's Freon cannon.
>Skull Island is completely swallowed into the Hollow Earth by the end of the film, leaving Kong homeless and to wander the world.

Los Angeles:
Godzilla and Kong's first battle, ends with a Sea battle and the destruction of several ships and a aircraft carrier.

Hong Kong:
Godzilla and Kong completely trash the city, Kong uses a Ferris wheel as a weapon and bends the metal around Godzilla's head. Kong is badly beaten here.

Skull Island:
Godzilla and Kong final fight, Godzilla wins, but their feud ends when both finally realize that neither are going to stop fighting. Godzilla and Kong stares each other down, both bloody, damaged and tired.

Basically Kong can't kill Godzilla, but he holds enough of his ground to show Godzilla that killing him isn't worth it, then both fight Mechagodzilla.
Ending result:
Godzilla and the destroyed MG are swallowed in with Skull Island at the end of the film. The whole damn Island sinks into the sea, aka the Hollow Earth, and Godzilla is dragged in with the pressure.

Kong is left homeless and travels the world.

While in general more plausible than the other fake leaks - I like the idea that Bichir and Ogura are the villains - still comes off as unlikely. They actually completely lost me by claiming Lance Reddick would be playing Houston Brooks, because not only does it ignore they already cast Joe Morton to play that part but ALSO ignores that Reddick is like 20 years too young to play him.

That and claiming there'll be a fight in Los Angeles, when literally nothing so far suggests any of the movie takes place in California.
