honestly crocs used to be so diverse in the prehistoric days that you could make a titan out of any of them. There was actually a crocodile that ran on hooves! imagine that in the Monsterverse! :D

We already do though. ;P

Poop forgot about that titan. The name fits perfectly for such a kaiju.

Given the premise for Godzilla vs. Kong maybe we'll see that since we'll no doubt be seeing more of the Titans in the next film.

Hopefully one of those being Nessie...

I believe we've heard reports that "Leviathan" IS Nessie in the Monsterverse. They're one in the same.

I heard about that being in the novelization but not sure if that's actually 100% confirmed tbh.

I hope its true tho.

they said Leiviathan is in Loch Ness so why wouldn't he be? unless there's two and the other ones name is Nessie.

hi, I'm new and I apologize if this has been said before, but the two things I'm really looking for post-2020 are;

1) A new Kong film, finally breaking the Kong 2 film curse.

2) For Legendary to take its new, original, Titans and make lower-budgeted standalone, and potential franchises, with them. Getting experimental and making different kinds of movies in different genres and possibly periods. For example; You could do a period film with Behemoth and explore its relationship with the ancient cultures of South America. And a post 'Godzilla v Kong' found footage film with Mokele-Mbembe. You can really do anything.

For this, a Monarch TV series with minimal appearances by actual titans (for less budget) would be pretty good. We could even have minor threats like Skull Island fauna, Shockirus parasites, vicious, man-eating gargoyle like redesigned Dorats created from Ghidorah DNA splicing with bats and even Matango! Then there's the whole ecoterrorists n stuff too.

Minus the Dorats because they should be thrown in an incinerator and never be used again. But yeah lol, it could work, though instead of cutting back on Titans. Just use practical effects for the money shots per episode.

Hey, American Godzilla used to be incinerator-worthy too until someone got him right. If you do Dorats right, you could make them terrifying beasts too. They could look like this but golden with more Dragonlike features :

And considering Ghidorah's neurons being in all his cells, they would retain his monstrous nature too, killing everything in sight (not just people, but pets and domesticated animals too) with Ghidorah-like sadistic glee until they were stopped somehow.

I wonder if they're looking at developing animated projects, like they're doing with Pacific Rim.

Wait, are they doing a PacRim cartoon? There were rumors after the first movie came out, but I figured they axed that idea.

From what I know, I believe it is axed

I am actually surprised Legendary didn't give Godzilla an animated series like the 98 cartoon.
From what I remember the 98 cartoon was very well received, I would think an animated/cartoon would also bring in interest to the young audience. We could have easily gotten Godzilla against MUTO Prime or if it takes place after KOTM but before GvK we could have Godzilla fighting other awoken titans keeping them in check.

Maybe they will do it at some point, who knows.

The '98 cartoon was great, I need to order the full series on DVD, its on amazon for cheap.

The last thing I heard about animated Pacific Rim was, an anime being developed for Netflix about a brother and sister who have to pilot a Jaeger through a warzone. That was maybe a couple months ago, it was mentioned as part of an article discussing Netflix push for more anime projects.

I think another animated Godzilla series needs a chance one day, only maybe in its own continuity, since things are sadly not looking pretty for the MV.

I can see them continuing. Toho REALLY wants to expand overseas and this is the best thing they have right now.

Hm I think this image I came across is pretty close to how the cast would look.
https://i.pinimg.com/originals/e0/ba/82 ... ad5569.jpg
Serisawa would bulk up, Graham would age down a bit, Sam looks a little more clueless, Rick also looks bulkier and a bigger smart ass and Chen looks a bit like a secret agent. Yeah I get it's intentionally mimicking Godzilla the Series. What'd be Nigel then?

I mean Elsie Chapman went from this in the movie.

To this in the cartoon.
