I'd be happy seeing them appear in the next film.NSZ wrote:So how long do you guys think it would take this universe to develop Maser tech? I mean, we already saw what may as well have been an ancestor to it when they tried to kill the Male in it's cocoon.
Maser tech already exists IRL I thought...NSZ wrote:So how long do you guys think it would take this universe to develop Maser tech? I mean, we already saw what may as well have been an ancestor to it when they tried to kill the Male in it's cocoon.
I don't think it'll ever happen. But I HOPE it'll happen.NSZ wrote:So how long do you guys think it would take this universe to develop Maser tech? I mean, we already saw what may as well have been an ancestor to it when they tried to kill the Male in it's cocoon.
I recommend you changing the thread name to "The Godzilla 2 Speculation Thread."2004Zilla wrote:Speculate about Godzilla 2 and possible sequels.

When was this confirmed?JGAR wrote:2022 (when apparently their rights to the Godzilla franchise expire)
No. He said it was just his predictions. I'd like to think there wouldn't be another 4 year gap between the third and fourth films.Gelo wrote:When was this confirmed?JGAR wrote:2022 (when apparently their rights to the Godzilla franchise expire)
Maybe by the third movie it sounds feasible.NSZ wrote:So how long do you guys think it would take this universe to develop Maser tech? I mean, we already saw what may as well have been an ancestor to it when they tried to kill the Male in it's cocoon.
I read a while back ago here in the forums, that Legendary had the rights for Godzilla for only 10 years, from 2012 to 2022. It was also when it was said that they had rights to 5 Toho monsters including Godzilla. I forgot who said that, and where that was said, but I know it was somewhere here. Hmm, maybe it was a false rumor now.Gelo wrote:When was this confirmed?JGAR wrote:2022 (when apparently their rights to the Godzilla franchise expire)
Well, it was just something misunderstood.Chris55 wrote:How do you know when the rights expire?JGAR wrote:Here are some predictions I have for the future:
-I think WB and Legendary are going to give us a trilogy, with the third movie coming in 2022 (when apparently their rights to the Godzilla franchise expire).
And yeah, there's a trilogy.
